Fenja Finalist

Over 300 applications from all over Europe – 10 Finalists – 1 German project

With my new production Tyr Auf! I was part of the circusnext Selection of Laureates 2026 at the Theatre de la Cité international, Paris.

I got to perform a 20-minute try-out for an international audience of professionals and circusnext jury members. I made great connections, met beautiful artists and challenged my comfort zone to a great extend. Thanks for that opportunity!

Next on I’ll perform Cyrrealism at Daidogei in Japan, then with Cirque Buffon in Cologne and will continue the creation of Tyr Auf! in 2027.

‚Schwerelos‘ at Krystallpalast Varieté

The last month of my performance period here at the Krystallpalast Varieté in Leipzig has started.

Since this March, I am performing Cyrrealism within the Varieté show: Schwerelos, directed by Urs Jäckle, Matthias Romir and choreographed by Samaki Pesce. Next to my act, the show includes little teaser and research elements of my upcoming solo-performance Tyr Auf!.

Finalist Circusnext 2026

The “circusnext Platform”, is the only platform dedicated to contemporary circus supported by the European Union: 24 members (creation & performance venues) in 15 European countries and a jury of artists join their forces to ours to identify emerging authors who create original and unseen circus. Together, we support these artists in their creation process and present their works to the public.

2nd Price par le Monastère

After five fun and exciting performances in this beautiful old church, I was awarded the 2nd Price at the Cabaret du judgement Dernier at Le Monastère in Montreal (CAN), July 2025.

Zirkus ON 7. Edition

I’m excited to announce the start of a new creation, currently under the working title “Tyr Auf!”, which will be supported for the next two years by the German funding program Zirkus ON.

Three projects, including my own, have been selected to receive there weeks of residency, a range of workshops, mentorship, and try-out performance opportunities. The program also offers a first point of entry into the professional network of Zirkus ON and its partner organizations.

Together with four other former Young Stage artists, who performed in previous editions of the festival, we deliberate alongside the Expert Jury and have the honor of awarding the festival’s most prestigious prize: the Grand Finale Award. Trobada de Rueda Cyr

One of the most exciting happenings in the world of Cyr wheel, is the Trobada de Rueda Cyr at La central de Circ, Barcelona (ES). For the 2025 edition, I’ve been invited to lead a Guided Improvisation. Over 80 spinners came together to roll, twist and swirl their way around, right next to the ocean. What a joy! More
